Was reading about CBS plans for Paramount+
Very interesting, and likely a good outcome for us re: future of television.
They see a future vision combining streaming a linear to create a comprehensive experience, leveraging their Paramount+ platform as well as their Pluto TV acquisition. They talk about seeing streaming as an opportunity for consumers to binge shows they are passionate about, and then leaning into the creation of linear content that plays on the communal experience on cable/network channels. They also plan on offering local CBS stations on the streaming platform - great news for local TV.
I think if other comprehensive streamers such as the Disney+/Hulu/ABC/ESPN monster, Peacock, etc. go this route, it will be great news for the future of YOO.
