Q4

No results released, no PR indicating when it will be released or date of conference call. Share price movement not optimistic. Also, in the past it seems like results are released at the final hour when they are underwhelming. I don't have high hopes.

Don't know how to reconcile that with the insider buying.  Sometimes I think we give these microcap mgmt teams more credit than is actually due when it comes to knowing how to communicate with shareholders

What I don't get is that if they are trying to hide bad results, it's not going to do anything. The SP has dwindled due to this uncertainty and is at 52w lows. Investors aren't completely stupid, just release the results promptly instead of last minute. Of course, there could be some accounting reason for the delays? But I just don't like the lack of communication, it's bad IR ...more

Q1 has been over for a month. The bozos should have released some prelim no.s to show progress on   integration of acquistion.

Listen to the quarterly conference call. They didn't seem too excited about Q1 growth when asked, and it seemed to be indiciated that expenses were higher in Q1 as well, with costs coming down after that. But it would be nice if they didn't need investors prying this info from them. The fact that they are doing the quarterly calls is at least much better than the prior leadership.

Also note that they indicated that no customers were lost in Q4, and they actually added some customers. The lack of growth was due to overall softness in ad industry. I guess we will see within the next 3 weeks!

One interesting thing from the MD&A/conference call is that there seems to be a plan to grow their customer base in the awards business, by simplifying the tech and opening up their customer base to smaller customers. No problem, someone is has been putting a whole lot of shares up for grabs at 12 cents yesterday/today. It seems there is going to be a cap at these low prices until they show some type of growth.

Advertising budgets are the first thing to go as recession approaches........I'm quoting from a Wealthion video... utube Sounds right. Hope we have a good leader and crew .....suspect we do, and the deal allows for lower purchase prices  if our acquisition isn't generating as hoped. Could imagine opportunities for us, adv is just part of our business....maybe p/u some weaker players.. ...more

We will see by Tuesday. They seemed to indicate in the conference call that Q1 would be another quarter of cash burn due to tech dev and DMD integration. I think it will be time to buckle up the expenses where possible after this. The good news is that May 21 has passed, and we almost certainly didn't reach any of the DMS earn-out benchmarks. Just read the quarterly.......comments, thoughts ?  Noodles your last post was right on. Obviously we need to both cut expenses, partly already in motion, raise sales ( likely in next couple of qtrs given tec improvements ) which will happen though incrementaly, and sort out the term loan covenants/terms/conditions......which could require a modest cash infusion. The business conditions aren't good. They need to peel back expenses. The share price action is brutal, the debt situation needs to be sorted before we see stability in the share price.

as in many  similar situations, YOO agreed to convenants, loan terms, that were unrealistic...unless everything went 100% as planned. Must get sorted asap

Haven't added lately......any thoughts where we stand ? Anyone ? Would be braver if we didn't have the acquisition debt repayments, which are burdensome if the biz is not firing on all cylinders. The macro picture is awful. They need to monetize the analytics side in order to offset that side. They also need to resolve the debt issue with new terms, or there will continue to be an overhang on the stock price.

think the debt issue is priority, as you suggest. Imo, the issue is highly handleable, so it only concerns me because it concerns other would be investors and is keeping our sp down at silly level.

The thing that makes me nervous is that the company is historically very leaky if you look at share spikes/crashes that occur before news/results come out. So the share price action isn't sending good signals.

Agree. Would add, in hindsight, bad timing to pick up ad agency ( or looks it from outside of the industry )....and gets me wondering, we were a tech company.....including having a service for ad agencies......what exactly i wonder is the reason to pick up a creative ad agency....nothing to do with our line of work really...superficially sure..but really ? We didn't pick up an ad agency, it was a competitor. They gave us some clients, but also production services infrastructure, which allowed us to be more full service offering. It was a decent deal in terms of what was paid, I just think in hindsight it would have been smarter to fund it via equity, but not sure if that was an option. just spent time looking at financials, on sedar. Not much to say,  music down, awards up...likely both response to fading covid effects, adv not up as much as i'd expected. Interesting that music sales in Canada 1/2 of U.S, awards and adv a more expected 10% of U.S.  Still 1/2 million available on revolving line, plus over 1/2 in cash allows time, good. Hoping the next financials ...more

Part of me thinks we will need about another million cushion or so.  I think we need to sell the music biz or raise equity and get cashed up. Focus on advertising and awards and invest money there. Also, get the debt renegotiated.

If $$ cushion reqd, would prefer a deb, interest can be paid in shares if reqd. I'd subscribe to some. Sale of music biz second choice, equity dilution ..ugh. Discussions on debt be easier with $$ cushion
