You see, the idea of a bench scale is to see how things react in a very small amount on an actual table.
When the same chemical reaction is taken to a larger scale, it doesn't always happen that way, and sometimes other variables like heating, etc that adds to cost is needed.
Not sure what will happen when SGS tries to purify this second bulk sample, but they might get the same purity results, but maybe more energy will be needed to get the same results that they got on a bench scale level.
More energy in, means higher costs, and this is just a mini bulk sample. Running an actual pilot scale plant with different ore grades from different sections of the pipes will show even more accurate results needed for the economic reports next year. JMO
