With TD, no need to phone in. I've been able to do all my trades via computer/app.
But their platform site has a been a bit wonky since they upgraded it. But for the last day or two, seems to be running better.
With my partner's platform, he's with Questrade, and has been able to do all of his trades via computer as well.
