This website is a placeholder for a past life in academia. I hold a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Waterloo. My Ph.D. research was focused on building decentralized mobile systems to circumvent Internet censorship - Censorship Tolerant Networking. My thesis is here. The problem underlying my work is strongly correlated with Internet adoption and therefore getting worse. I hope to revisit it someday.
I am currently the one-person engineering team behind VoteBlast, Inc. I built and work on all VoteBlast products including our iOS clients (iPhone, iPad, Watch, and TV), desktop and mobile websites, internal proprietary tools, and VoteBlast's highly scalable backend stack.
