RE:RE:RE:RE:Have you?

RE:RE:RE:RE:Have you?I had quite a long conversation with Earl today and we discussed the confirmation of readiness package. He said I could pass on this information. There is no pre-licensing inspection now. They just use the evidence package. They do a pre-sales inspection before granting sales authorization. Security clearance can take LPs years, but you know when a company has got to the confirmation of readiness stage that security screening of key individuals is over. Security clearances aren't actually 'granted' until the licence is issued. This is all public information by the way. The unfortunate thing about the forums is that few participants are aware of the mountain of regulatory constraints. the 'Confirmation of Readiness Evidence Package' is an attestation to Health Canada that we are ready to produce cannabis. The biggest component of that are the 'Security Measures' (I'm citing the regulations). The package is done in lieu of a pre-licensing inspection, which was Health Canada's old practice. So in other words, they look at our photos and watch our videos and see that we're compliant with the Cannabis Regulations" From what I understand the first people they hired to help them get through the regulatory constraints promised the world and delivered nothing. The gentleman I was speaking to today took over that part of it to get it all on track.. From what he is told by others who have gone through the process this step can take 7 weeks to 3 months. It's the Canadian government where everything is 'hurry up and wait'
