RE: Goldcorp take over target

RE: Goldcorp take over target I was a bit concerned with PIB04's comment about everyone jumping out at the first of the year. Yes, I think that is it true that there is a motivation to avoid 2005 taxes. However once we get into 2006, it is my opinion that the best course is to stay in VIA until the last of January. Historically, it is my opinion that Januaries favor the more established stocks such as Goldcorp. I think that Januaries tend to be hard on Wildcat Junior Golds. I think that the advantage of jumping onto the Wildcat Junior gold train will not start until February. Historically, a rally begins on February 1. Anyway, for me, I think that the wisest course to stay with VIA for a while longer. There is no urgency to switch trains. To think that there is an urgency is to be ignorant. RJ PS - I do not think that staying for the NVIA and Goldcorp is stupid. You guys will probably sleep a lot sounder. Exactly when does this switch over to the new stock certificates take place?
