ill tell you somebody who did not miss virginia, that is adrian day up in annapolis. he is one hell of a money manager and he also writes a globally oriented and hard money oriented investment newsletter.
he had that virginia puppy pegged for a champ VERY early, before there were any drill results on elenore, and mentioned it numerous times in his fine publication, adrian day's investment analyst, as a speculation worth doing. he credited management for grabbing up so much of quebec, he credited their money saving approach, and he credited their cash in the bank, which at the time was roughly a buck a share, canadian, as i recall.
I would put Claude Cormier, publisher of Ormetal report, in the same league on mining stocks. He was late to the party on virginia, but he was there very early on one of the other best stories going, bear creek mining!
