RE: good or badThumbs up from me. Offers a decent price for our shares and it gives us shares in New VIA which has lots of money in its coffer plus a raft of good properties and a NSR on Eleonore. All in all a good deal. It does not leave much room for a counter-offer from a competitor due to VIA's shareholder protection plan and breakup fee.
I'm happier holding Goldcorp shares than almost any other major I can think of.
