Thumbs up from me. Offers a decent price for our shares and it gives us shares in New VIA which has lots of money in its coffer plus a raft of good properties and a NSR on Eleonore. All in all a good deal. It does not leave much room for a counter-offer from a competitor due to VIA's shareholder protection plan and breakup fee. I'm happier holding Goldcorp shares than almost any other

You get a premium to the stock price plus a vehicle to participate in the other properties and a royalty on Ele. That is profit plus potential: What else could you want? If others do not think it is enough, than perhaps a second bidder who agrees with you will step up. We should know market sentiment by Wednesday.
