RE: Next propertyThe other possibility is the following: Éléonore covers an area of roughly 520 square kms. During the conference call yesterday, Paul Archer said (if I heard him correctly) that the deal with Goldcorp only covered 240 square kms -- so a bit less than half the total Éléonore land package. So, going forward, one must view New Virginia as one of the best "proximity plays" on the Roberto discovery.
During the call, one shareholder asked André (in french) what would New Virginia's exploration focus be going forward. André was pretty coy and simply said that it would be business as usual and they would look at their large northern Quebec portfolio of properties. I got the sense, though, the Gaumond and Archer know exactly where they are going to focus in the comming months. They have tons of cash to do it. Soon, we will find out...
