Viacom is a global media company with several leading cable network properties, including Nickelodeon, MTV, BET, Comedy Central, VH1, CMT, and Paramount. Viacom has also built several online properties on the strength of these brands. Viacom's Paramount Pictures produces original motion pictures and owns a library of 2,500 films, including the Godfather and Transformers series. Viacom was spun out of CBS at the end of 2005.

RE: Casey Said SellThis might seem like some obvious arithmetic but, the 'New Virginia' component of the current 'VIA' price is going for a pretty nice price. (prices from my last glance at the market depth chart) G @ 23.28 * 0.4 = 9.312 (Goldcorp component of VIA price) VIA @ 10.01 * 0.5 = 1/2 share of 'New Virginia' 10.01 - 9.312 = 0.698 = current market valuation of 1/2 share of 'New Virginia' 0.698 * 2 = $1.396. Is 'New Virginia' worth at least $1.396? I think it is. I've not bought any yet into this selling, but it may seem like a good idea if it sells any further.
