A nice little gold portfolio now

Hello VIA board, I'm a long term VIA owner and bullboard lurker. Just wanted to give my 2 cents. According to ROBTV this morning G diluted itself by about 6% to purchase VIA. That's pretty reasonable, and I think that's why G's price didn't precipitously drop this morning. So anyone who is new to this game and wondering why G dropped slightly on the deal, the dilution is the main part of the reason (my opinion - I'd be happy to hear other opinions). You can't issue new equity and not expect there to be a bit of a hit... all part of doing business. I'm going to hang on to my new G shares as well as the exploreco shares and try to realize the full potential of this. I've heard others on the board already saying they were glad to own G, which is a very well run company. The LOW COST operation at Red Lake is outstanding. I need to study G more to understand what their hedge book is like. As for the exploreco, who could ask for more? Well funded junior with excellent prospects hitting the ground running, being run by people who know NW/Quebec better than anyone, with a built-in customer of any new economic reserves. All in all, it looks like my original VIA speculation has turned into a nice little Gold portfolio (big and small companies), just in time to watch Gold's prolific climb in price relative to other currencies. Sweet! bg
