What about a Placer Dome bid !!!! I've heard they were following Eléonore drilling results closely ...... Let alone if they want to bug Barrick that could be a good way to do it ...... Why not ?

I would have guessed Placer too - but I think those guys are a little busy writing up golden parachute contracts for each other before the take over gets voted on to notice right now.

The "word on the street" was that it was to be Glamis. Even though I have sold I'm cheering for you guys to get a higher bid- when you own something speculative and win big, it becomes sort of like cheering for your favourite sports team even if I don't have money on them ; ) But honestly guys, we got fair value, based on the results to date, no matter what our dreams said ...more
