RE:RE:RE:RE:Wassana You have no idea what you are talking about. Take a look at Sean's targets. Do your homework and think twice before spewing your nonsense on this board.
First of all, Wassana was producing 2400 barrels per day when output was stopped. According to the Jan 2023 presentation, the planned target was 4500 bopd for Wassana. With the new discovery, Wassana is expected to last well beyond 2030. There's plenty of oil there.
Secondly, the plan is to add more production to Nong Yao to bring it from around 7000 bopd to around 11000 bopd. So why would they not do the same with Wassana?
Sean has openly stated that he wants VLE to be producing 100000 bopd within the next 3 years. How do you think VLE will get there? The strategy is to increase cash flow in order to acquire more. How else do you think VLE will fund another acquisition? By issuing more shares? I sure hope not. That's not Sean's strategy. Pay off debt, increase cash flow and grow through acquisitions. He even hinted at a dividend or share buyback.
Management is vested in the company. They have no reason to issue more shares. Increasing cash flow is the best option and the obvious direction. They just paid off debt. No reason to bring on more. It's cash flow that will grow this company and history has proven that there is lots of life left in these fields. Once Wassana is back on we will be over 20000 bopd. Just watch.
