$90 Oil ??

Unless serious fighting happens in the Middle East, it looks to me that $90 WTI is a dream. Just a dream. VLE drops as WTI sinks but never gets near $3, never mind back to $4. If you guys want to make money, try shorting crude and oil stocks, whether the crude inventory rises or falls. I'm just the messenger, reporting what is happening. I want VLE and WTI to rise, but it's not happening.

Except for shorts, we all want VLE to rise & not because of WTI but because they are able to show the growth, discovery, good management or that they have a path forward. As a shareholder I don’t see any of that ….not yet. What I see is some optimization of old proven fields with sure bet infill drilling, new appointments like Ms. Anna & some re-arranging of office furniture like moving ...more

G37, the management team has taken us this far, which is a substantial move forward. Why do you think that don't have the ability to  move the company further? Serious question. I'm interested in knowing why you feel that way.

Why?....track record; looking back at Thrace & even this ‘scavenger’ Thailand acquisition. I felt in love with the concept of the unconventional yet huge prospect in Thrace – which I still hope is still on. Here, it needs to be said that at that time Mr. S. Guest didn’t have ANY skin in the game – not confidence inspiring…no. BUT, VLE was spending other peoples’ money so that was OK, right ...more

I know for a fact that Sean Guest is not an idiot. He has more information than any of us, and he keeps buying with his own capital. Since he took over the Thailand operation some of his senior officers that he inherited are also buying into their new employer. All of us long haulers want this thing to bang, but this stock is shaping up to be a 30% per year grower. They have done the heavy lifting ...more

Well, C37, when I arrive at a place where I no longer have faith in management's ability I sell and move on. That is the rational thing to do. There's no point in hanging  around  groaning and complaining.

There is a difference between groaning & complaining and constructive criticism….(at least this is my hope). I just have too much invested in this venture – beginning with Thrace, for me to just walk away; plus I like the projects. In VLE case I still hope that they will get ‘lucky’ regardless of what my opinion about management is. G37

Sorry cyber, but I think to everyone but you it's sounds like whining and illogical. If you have been in a long time you should be in profit and easy to sell. Even at a loss why stay in something and hope for luck?  Makes no sense.  You should not be married to a stock, but if you are in a bad marriage you should summon the courage to leave the marriage.  Unless you and valeura ...more

One can also say the price went from $6 to $0.25/share ….but that is the risk you take when investing in exploration prospects. While true you shouldn’t ‘marry’ your stock I still like this one because of the potential in deep formations like the Wassana field. I don’t see a need to clarify any of my posts & anyone is entitled to have an opinion; even better if it is informed. G37

I lovce VLE stock it generated low seven figures profit for me in 2023 on multiplee swing trades. I see the company as yet another scam canadian mining company eversince they fleeced Eqinor $50M, sold Thrace shallows to newco offshore at 90% discount to appraised value, and moved to Singapore 1500Km away from Thailand on five star expat packages leaving Canadian listed corp with proxy directors.  ...more

Well said. I've been in and out several times. It's irritating that the SP falls by >5% on a down day, more than any other company on my watchlist.
