RE: Question ???

RE: Question ???I accept your challenge to stimulate some discussion on VTR.  I offer these points for consideration:

-VTR dropped commensuate with gold and the markets in 2011, so this was not a specific sell-off of VTR
-volumes have been low, indicating there's not a general rush to get out.  I'm guessing the sellers that did show up were either panic sellers or traders locking in profit.
-VTR's fundamentals remain unchanged
-we'll gain more information on VTR's attractiveness as an investment when the markets turn around and start going up than what we learned when they went down.  If it remains flat or drifts further downward, then only some dramatic news will turn it upwards again.  Watch trading volumes as much price.

In spite of VTR's statement they may take their discoveries into production, the more likely scenario would be a large miner buys them out.   Is that their preferred option?   I don't know for sure and the language on their website is pretty careful not to indicate one way or the other.  However, my guess is they'll focus on fully proving out the Kiaka deposit, sell it and then repeat the process on their other properties.   They are an exploration company after all.
