volatility vs risk
volatility vs risk I came across a post from another board - cannot recall which - but I think its a great articulation of something that is often forgotten by mainstream media. Essentially the concept is Volatility is what happens between the point at which you buy and the point at which you sell, and from that perspective it is totally irrelevant. And its very different than "risk" although mainstream media treats the two concepts - volatility and risk - as one and the same. Stockhouse does not seem to allow me to reproduce it here, but the basic idea is as stated above, and I think it applies to our stock which is surely volatile but whose share price will ultimately provide a profit to those with patience.
