Mr. Lundin said buy Volta four times between May, 2008, and July, 2011, at prices ranging from 59 cents to $1.17. Assuming a $1,000 investment for each buy, the $7,000 position is now worth $6,129. Volta has released a resource update for its Kiaka project in Burkina Faso. It estimates a measured and indicated resource of 4.02 million ounces Au, and an inferred resource of one million ounces Au. The update incorporates assays from 39,937 metres of drilling done since the previous resource estimate. It shows a 33-per-cent increase in the M&I resource.
