Why CPR is a Junior Company to Watch

Why CPR is a Junior Company to Watch

The world is becoming increasingly reliant on lithium batteries, are you investing accordingly? One junior lithium company to watch out for is Allied Copper Corp. (Tickers: CPR.V or CPRRF for US investors). Allied Copper, soon to be renamed Volt Lithium, is positioned to capitalize on the increasing demand for lithium due to the growing popularity of Electric Vehicles and other modern technologies.

The company's flagship asset, the Rainbow Lake Property in NW Alberta, holds a significant resource of lithium-enriched brine estimated at 78 billion barrels with lithium grades reaching up to 119 mg/L.

Volt has mineral extraction rights for Rainbow Lake, while its partner Cabot Energy controls the petroleum and gas rights. Leveraging Cabot's existing infrastructure, Volt can avoid costly exploration work and gain a strategic advantage over other junior lithium companies, making it an attractive investment option for investors seeking exposure to the lithium market.

Volt recently announced a significant technical breakthrough with their proprietary IES-300 Direct Lithium Extraction (DLE) technology. Building on the success of the original IES-200 DLE process, the IES-300 technology has maintained a high lithium extraction rate while reducing the amount of reagent required to treat oilfield brine, resulting in streamlined extraction process and reduced operating costs.

The IES-300 DLE technology features a two-stage process to remove contaminants from oilfield brine and extract lithium, ultimately upgrading it to lithium hydroxide, a key material for batteries.

Volt's dedication to innovation cements it as a standout player in the rapidly evolving lithium extraction market.

Volt is currently conducting a pilot production project with results expected to be released by the end of Q2 2023. The company aims to be the first in North America to achieve profitable commercial production of lithium from oilfield brine.
