This whole thing smacks of protection for the big guys. Sort of like how the competition bureau can't see the blatant price fixing at the gas pump every day but has managed to see it in some independent gas companies back east. No majors cited.
I would think the ASC would come out of the gates against a licensed market professional if they want to make a statements about their guardianship of the market's integrity. I am quite sure that if they only looked they would find at least one...
Check out the tape of any heavily traded stock and tell me if that looks straight-up using these metrics? Is hitting the ask or sell going to become evidence of market manipulation in this country? Heck, it is manipulation when someone moved VMS' price today with 500 shares?
I hope the BCSC is looking into that suspicious activity.
