Cut dividend in half, selling Italian operation

Cut dividend in half, selling Italian operation
The effect of the announcement that they would cut the dividend in half next year is negative for sure, but the sale of the Italian operation for 8 billion Euros, following the sale of the Spanish operation for 5 billion, means they will be better suited to profit making, and the growth will be with the UK Three.
I like pro-active management that is not afraid to make bold steps to improve shareholder value in the long term. GLTAL
