RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:Pakidriver...it will never end...what part of that does yourWell income taxes were a temporary tax imposed when, during WW1?? The government got real used to them in a big hurry and never tossed them after the war was over. A guy by the name of Pierre Trudeau invented deficit spending and deficit budgets and I still hate his guts for doing that. His stepson is taking it to previously never before encountered levels unfortunatly, and they do it with a big smile on their face. A guy by the name of W.A.C. Bennett (Social Credit) in BC in the 1960s never used debt to fund anything. He wrote a cheque for a megaproject the size of the Bennett Dam for heavens sakes. If we could'nt afford it by keeping good books we didn't do it. Oh how I long for those days.
