There's something very wrong with this stock

The gap between bid and ask can be disparate, as much as 10-15% on any given day, as it is this morning. The volumes are insanely low. At 10 a.m. today, exactly two shares changed hands. Not two thousand or two hundred. Two shares. If I was a suspicious person, I might wonder if there was some manipulation going on. As it stands, I'm not even sure why this company exists. They run online chat rooms for enthusiasts. That was a great idea in 1999. Now there's Reddit, not to mention Facebook, not to mention TicToc. I really don't get it. How is this a $20 stock? It should be more like 20 cents.

Earnings come out and the stock trades 2,400 shares??? why did they take this POS public - management better off taking this thing private again.

And just look at the tale of today's tape. A 16% gap between a tiny bid lot and and a tiny ask lot, and exactly 457 shares changed hands through the day. This sure isn't like other TSX stocks. And the company isn't like other TSX companies, either. So, what is it, exactly? It's not really a technology company, since they don't have any platform that would interest anyone. And ...more

My guess is that management takes this thing private at a much lower price.

That's not a bad guess. The board is the same group of conniving grifters who drove Torstar into the dust, screwed shareholders, and just happened to come away with unencumbered assets, including this POS company. Will they run the same three-card monty game a second time? Why wouldn't they? So what's the price where it goes private again? Five bucks? Do I hear four loonies? Three?
