RE:why the bid miss?Sure that's easy. When the street (Instituional Investors) see a good thing and they want to buy more cheap shares they estimate earnings much higher so that the retail investors will sell off their cheap shares to them. This is all part of the game they play.
Solution is to learn how to do your own research and calculations and you'll know when a stock is cheap and when it's overpriced.
