Plant Design

Plant design was expected to be finalised some months after the completion of feasibility. The work was being carried out

by Contromation Energy Services in Jakarta under the supervision of Woulfe’s technical team. However there has been some

slippage mainly due to changes in the design of certain circuits. The delay in finalising the IMC financing package due to the

extended due diligence period has proved fortuitous, particularly with the acquisition of the strategic land parcel, as plant

design can be optimised. One major change in design is placing the primary crusher underground. This restricts the haulage

truck movements on the surface where adverse weather conditions are experienced in winter, and also facilitates noise and

dust control. The crushed ore will be conveyed to secondary and tertiary crushers located on the surface above existing

concrete bins. The design and engineering drawings are now being completed in-house by the Woulfe technical team.
