Vancouver Resource Investment Conference 2014

I looked up for Ned Goodman at the conference to ask him about WOF and unfortunatly he did not come out to participate as guest speaker as he had to take care of some family matters.
However; he did have his number one assistant John Murray come out to take his place.

Met John Murray and several other people that appeared to have some knowledge of what was taking place with WOF's progress and  delays and I kept asking questions.

(1) Question???; why is financing taking so long???. Answer; All the major shareholders are in aggreement except one major shareholder  that is creating a few obstacles but however they appear to be joining the team as a group toward the full development of the mine. ( did not get the name of major shareholder that was creating the delay) ( the problem was not in Korea or Australian as I kept asking who, who, who ???).

(2) I was also told by one of the people that IMC and the Korean Government and associated companies have not been the problem and been fully supportive of the project and in fact IMC  is providing full financing for the project once some of the wavers are signed by all major sharehoders).

(3) How long will we wait for financing.??? Within the next two weeks.

Based on what I heard from these people I am not suprised on today's market bullish sentiment and volume.

Hoping that our patience has paid off and we may have to buckle up our seatbelts as this baby is ready to soar.

Good job.. Thanks for the info.. Since Mr. Goodman was not there, Woulfe slipped from my mind.. Never occurred to me to corner Mr. Murray who based on his participation at the closing session, looked like a serious person.. Really not like a lot of glib people you see at these events so wished I had a chat with him..

Guerreiro- Great job pursuing information! It sounds like Mr. John may have been throwing us a softball with the following clues:  Met John Murray and several other people that appeared to have some knowledge of what was taking place with WOF's progress and  delays and I kept asking questions. It has to be either Colonial or Global.  However, as much as I like the info., I cant believe he gave out  inside information of the most sensitive type and seems to be in no danger of being prosecuted.  From the price action it appears he gave that same new info out to multiple people at the conference, but with no public announcement.

Ark, my bet is that they're trying to get them to waive anti-dilution clauses simlar to the one that was invoked when Ned thoughtfully provided that bridge loan for 10M Shares.  Needing to do significant dilution to get further funds an incoming investor looking to essentially be in a takeover position wouldn't want those clauses intact or at least would want to be aware of the intent ...more

Gaius: in your business experience, could the major tranferance of shares we've seen the past few months be attributable to a change of ownship prior to the news? Ive seen been through a similar situation as a Clearwire Communications shareholder when Time Warner was selling their stake in the company prior to the Sprint takeover.  I could be completely off base with this but I want your ...more

Anything that generates news generates interest, and anything that generates interest generates buyers, it's just the number of shares traded is the main indicator of interest, and a low volume stock that experiances sudden volume on news of even a neutral nature tends to go up in the short term. Now, the volume that we're getting seems to go beyond that a bit.  Normally you'd ...more
