It all depends on your goals; if seeing that the creditors get paid off is one thing but if it is your desire to make money (& to make money there is always risk) well LRE is the right place to come. Where else can you pick up such value for under a buck with such a great potential to make money.
 
I always get a kick out of it when posters on this site support the creditors using the creditors’ analytical data as if God was speaking. The creditors are only concerned about themselves & not you the small investor. The major investors always work in collusion with the creditors & it’s the small investor who gets shafted every time. They don’t care about share price or company survival; all they want is their money & pss on everybody else. Blame the laws in Canada; & the banks love it this way. Everything is in their favor. In other words, the banks own the politicians, the TSX, the police, the SEC, & the judges.
 
What good is a balance sheet if you got no acquisitions? Read SPE’s presentation; they have 264 million shares out & produce a measly 10,000 BOE/d & state that they are out to acquire properties but they don’t have any money. They have to go out and borrow it. There is no way they can put out a share offering so my guess is; if someone will give them these properties for nothing they’ll take it. I can only say; what a waste of investment but a sucker is born every minute as the saying goes.
