AndrewsI watched the video and will agree he was brutally honest. It's easy to see that he has given all he can and is tired and under a lot of pressure, he is surely in the same group as many other managers in the oil patch. It would be unfortunate if he leaves soon as this will change the leadership in the middle of negotiations with MIE and he stated it would take the Canadian government 75 to 120 days to approve the deal and this is right in the middle of our federal election after which we could have a change in government and a change in policy. There are a lot of moving parts in LRE land right now, most of which are out of Andews' control and this is what I think is the most stressful part of his job.
Andews' goal of reducing debt to $300 - $350 million will change this company forever as many oil companies in Alberta struggle with having bought high and are now having to sell low.
