RE:hmmm wilwalYou can't read apparently lamebrain. I continue to have a significant holding in LRE, and a very nice position to be in to have the debs go from $40 to $58. Should the MIE deal close, debs will trade around $70-80 depending on oil prices at the time.
In the meantime, it means collecting a simple interest of 16% annually with a yield to maturity of almost 40% annually with upside potential of capital appreciation. A nice big whack of cash landed in my account on Thursday. Next one up about Feb 4th or 5th.
Of course you have been saying they are going into bankruptcy but I haven't seen the notices yet. Maybe you could let us know where to confirm what you are saying.
