And yet there is no confirmation from Changchun Sinoenergy that the PP closed and no update re the revised Outside Date and the Foreign Investment Review extension….   Although in my opinion the odds are in favour of the deal closing it is far from guaranteed.   The reality is that Sinoenergy can walk for a number of reasons. That NR confirms that the PP has not yet been successful.  This NR is for a $16 million loan guarantee for a subsidiary, hardly even a material event and they report it.  The PP is to raise $300 million to finance the Long Run purchase and there is silence there so far.  The risk of a request for another extension is now much higher.  I suspect they need higher oil prices to ...more
