Q3 2015 (last year) we produced 15,985 gold ouncesMangazeya`s Savkinskoye gold mine is a seasonal (processing) operation, due to heap leaching and cold weather conditions with Russian winters. Mangazeya`s second mining operation (Nasedkino) will use conventional processing, thus will be a year round processing operation (not seasonal). It`s too early to know if Mangazeya`s 3rd mining opeation (Zolinsko-Arkiinskoye) will use heap leaching or conventional processing, or both.
As a seasonal processing operation, Savkinskoye`s 3rd quarter is its biggest quarter. The 4th quarter is a big production quarter also though, but not quite as big as the 3rd. The 3rd quarter has officially ended now. We`ll see if Mangazeya releases Q3 gold production numbers over the next couple of weeks. We`ll see production comes in at 15,985 gold ounces of better for Q3 2016.
