That theoretically is always true. But we can’t trade with certain knowledge but rather must assess probabilities. Actually my sells yesterday were based upon the expectation of a pull-back in POG.
My experience is that after an exceptionally sharp uptick, that profit taking is likely to occur. Today POG is getting some support from USD and S&P, but buying back in doesn’t have to be done the very next day. If a stock drops 5% below sale point below sale price over the next few sessions, I’m back in.
No one ever lost money taking profits and it is not a divorce, she’ll always take you back.
