The Bombardier Effect

The Bombardier EffectAs Bombardier continues selling off practically all of their divisions and prepares for their eventual bankruptcy down the road...

The Quebec government must be thinking: WHO CAN WE TOSS MILLIONS IN CORPORATE HANDOUTS TO NOW?

Nemaska Lithium seems to have gone belly up after a mere $350 million cost over-run in their development projects.  Bombardier? Stick a fork in them. They are done.

I thought Quebec might support HEXO (the first Quebec based pot stock), but not a chance. HEXO moved their head office to Ontario and the current Quebec government is not a fan of pot.

By process of elimination, companies like this one will have Quebec government reps begging them to accept free money, subsidies, loans and anything else they want to expand really rapidly and create green jobs in Quebec.
