Just my approach during this crazy time

Just my approach during this crazy timeWhen I feel like panicking and selling everything I ask myself:

Do I really think that a stock is flawed and if so, I sell it all and still watch it but sleep at night.
If I’m not sure then I sell some, but not all.
However, my main approach is:  Do I need access to this money in the next 1-5 years?  If not, then I ask myself where I think the price will be in that 1-5 year time frame.  That usually helps  with strategic decisions.

I have watched several of my favourite stocks do major pull backs, but patience has been my friend.  I make sure I am diversified and have some boring, stable, dividend-paying stocks to draw from for monthly cash if necessary.

If we were right all of the time or able to time the market, we would all be billionaires.

PS:  Noise polluters…please go away!
