Great Interview!  Kurt said they plan on acquiring across North America another 30 Companies by 2025 to create a Clean Tech Sevice Network!  Customers include Iwatani, Petro China and Plug Power. Needless to say I'm staying Long!    Right Company, Right Place, Right Time.

Too bad he didn't get to say that. I'd say the average investor gained very little from that. They gave him no time. "Here's a piece of paper. Copy the Bible on it."

It was more of a puff piece than anything, but that's common on BNN and the link.  The average investor isn't going to more XBC in any material or sustainable way anyways.  Everyone loves a bump from an exposure piece, but as with anything, something easily gained is easily lost.  Growth will come organically, from acquisitons, and institutional recognition.

I just watched the interview and thought it was fantastic! Seven minutes long and full of information for the average investor. It had a great impact on s/p today. Curt did a great job - he knows what he's talking about.

Actually, the fact is that the stock right now is trading below where it was when the interview started. I don't think Andy Bell did a very good job with the interview, and if you look at Kurt's face at the end, it's pretty clear he agreed with me. Andy did as much talking as he did. I'm pretty sure everyone already knows Kurt knows what he's talking about.    It ...more

I have mentioned this a few times and it doesnt get much airtime. If we simply assume XBC gets $300mm in revenues by 2022 and place a 10x multiple on it than that works out to $20 share price. WHile not directly comparable in terms of business profiles, the valuation gap between the US players and XBC is massive and growing. SHould it stay this way then the number of shares one of these guys would ...more

Agreed...The US investors seem to know little or nothing about XBC just look at the volume stateside. I thought this might change and it should maybe it takes a little longer than I was expecting.

I agree with your point that as the valuations of companies like PLUG grows, the risk of one of them taking a run at Xebec also grows. I made a similar point a few days back but there was no comment on the issue. Does anyone know if Xebec has any poison pill mechanisms to discourage companies from making an attempt to acquire Xebec? Obviously any merger would benefit us as shareholders in the ...more

Xebec would adopt either a Flip-in or Flip-out poison pill in the event a potential acquirer gains  beneficial ownership of a certain percentage of shares, which is very unlikely to happen, as the stock is tightly held between management, the Caisse, and friendly institutional holders. There are any worries there.

All Andy Bell interviews come across the same way. Andy has been around for decades.

Preliminaries certainly don't look good for Plug and co. It's early yet, but they look like they're going to get smoked at the open.    We don't care. Maybe some of the money coming out of Ballard will come our way. Nothing else matters. Xebec's going higher.

Its challenging to dig into all of the great work and opportunity for this company in the alloted time. Kurt did a good job of presenting the high level opportunities and core competencies of the company. The accompanying slides had some good concise information for viewers to chew on.  He did touch on the RNG loop, Hydrogen technology, their roll-up strategy and their recent purchase of ...more

Apparently BNN contacted XBC for the interview due to the interest that has been noted during market call when viewers asked guests to comment on XBC. Here was the opportunity to hear directly from the CEO vs an analyst. The interview was a tad short as Kurt wanted to point out 2 things when asked about the projects managed or big customers, he started with point 1 discussing the CSN, then was ...more
