The company has posted a GM position for Blainville. Included in the position are responsibilities related to cost control, on time delivery, process standardization, resource management and development of Key Performance Indicators (KPI’S). I am certain these are all areas of concern that came up in a recent operational review. Not the whole answer to the recent problem but a big piece to the puzzle going forward

RESPONSIBILITIES
Be responsible to achieve the design, manufacturing and delivery on time of the renewable natural gas projects and PSA projects;
Be responsible for meeting cost objectives for the products manufactured in Blainville;
Be responsible for meeting budgeted expenses for the operation in Blainville;
Organizes and manages all functional teams to meet requirements and company objectives:
Engineering
Supply Chain
Manufacturing
Service
Quality, Testing, and conformity

Project Management and planning
Work effectively with the accounting resources attached to plant operations.

Defines overall Operations objectives, standards, processes, and policies, including the development of necessary plans and actions to meet corporate objectives;

Work with key employees to ensure that customer expectations are met while meeting internal business goals;

Coordinate in all new hires, training, manage employee performance review process and development and work with Human Resources to resolve issues;

Assist with B2B relationships and terms and approve terms with customers and vendors;

Assist with asset management coordination;

Manage day to day business operations;

Develop, implement, maintain, and improve relevant KPIs;

Identifies opportunities for improvement related to the effectiveness of equipment, planning, staff, etc. and implements improvements effectively;

Maintain performance capacity analysis for all manufacturing processes to proactively address ability limitations;

Work with executive management to make decisions on facilities and infrastructure;

Maintain supplier relationships and work with other Xebec divisions to generate savings with Xebec Supply chain partners.

Good queston TT. The most senior position I ever came across in Blainvile was a Director of Operatons. That position had managers reporting into it.  My guess is until recently Blainville was likely managed by committee, as you had Kurt and Prabhu on site as well. It wasn't very long ago Kurt was much more inward looking than he has been recently.  In a smaller scale operation, all
