RE: Summer doldrums
RE: Summer doldrums
How do ya' arrive at the conclusion that you've 'held up well' ??
The Venture index has dropped 7.3% since the close on July 20th....the markets started the breakdown the next day. In the same interval... XE's closing price has dropped 9.6%. Not all bad....and certainly reflective of the malaise....but hardly qualifies as holding well.......or do ya' figure it should have dropped 15-20% ?
Somewhere ya' gotta' be honest with yourself....right!!
Lawmmower is the guy with the thinking cap on , and the one you'd best heed....he's seeing it as it is....not as some of you wish it to be. Leanna, or Morninggal, is little more than a phony hypster....believe him/her at your own peril.
The markets are getting close to a psychological tipping point here....and another week or two of significant selloffs may kill what bloom is still on the rose. If the buyers are unnerved enough to go on sabbatical you're gonna' have a serious dry spell.
If that happens it won't matter what your drilling results are ( the boys would go quiet or downplay them at best ). The promoters are far too clever to waste their powder trying to run a stock against a bad market....it's an expensive and suicidal mistake.
If ya' don't like that idea or think it's a false premise....just ask yourself why the stock is already off over 9%......WHY...because the boys won't hold it.. or run it ...against a bad market. Surely you think they're clever enough to figure that out.....you've shown that you have confidence in their business acumen by betting your hard earned cash on their pony!! And an integral part of that business acumen is knowing how and when to run a market in the stock....hard to trump up business when no one wants what you're selling!
Better wish hard for a stabilization or improvement in the markets in general lads.....'cause your immediate prospects....or maybe your apples... are pretty much in that basket at the moment!
