im hearing chatter

im hearing chatter

That  EXXON  and Chevron  are looking at  Penn  West.  Also  hearing that  Total  is looking to  make a ten billion dollar deal. Last rumour from two sources is that Exxon Mobil   is looking at a Halliburton take over at  45 range.  The last one puzzles me  because  Hal does over 50  % of its revenue    outside the  USA. I also  wonder how  HAL  would fare  doing business with competing oil companies to  Exxon   Mobil  .The norm  seems to be though  on alot of joint ventures and partnerships    in the future as the world is runnnig out of  "easy   oil"   .  The   partnerships   makes it easier to raise capital  for the megaprojects   coming up  .HAL  was on fire yesterday  and KR Energy Partners calls it the  ONLY  name to  own  in oil or oilfield services.  Wonder if they  know something because  HAL  was going stupid  in price and volume all  last week.  PWT  had   its second best volume day in a month .  Killer volume for two  or three days would mean  a secret has probably been  leaked.     Nice to  be  a  a long term   holder in this space  right now.
