NRG Energy (NYSE: NRG), through its subsidiary, NRG Solar, started operations at the 66 MW AC Alpine Solar Generating Station in California.
Pacific Gas & Electric (NYSE: PCG) will buy the output from the plant under a 20-year power purchase agreement. First Solar (Nasdaq: FSLR) built and will operate and maintain the project.
