Procyon Commentary

With regards to the comments from BartUAV on 8020 that seem to have raised concern amongst shareholders.  I was not involved in whatever incident occured as it happened after I left. And I do not understand Global UAV's communication strategy.

However, strictly speaking as a general statement about the Procyon system, and in response to statements that it cannot fly: this is completely unfounded.  There exist untold hours of video which would prove otherwise.  I recorded hours of video during flight testing.  There also exist tons of flight recorder data from each and every machine in service. Further, when I was running NOVAerial, I had developed a policy, where each and every unit sold was test flown for 30-60 minutes before shipping.  And I recorded a "proof of life" video for each and every unit.

I did this because I had learned before I even developed the Procyon system, when I was doing development work and support for other companies, that well more than 90% of UAV crashes are due to user error.  And helicopters in particular present a greater chance for problems due to operator mishandling.  They are simply more fragile than multirotor systems.

The Procyon flew, and flew well. It had higher performance than it's competitors in many areas, particularly speed. In fact it had roughly double the top speed of other similar helicopters drones. And I think it's wind performance, reliability and flight stability beat others too, though I have no data on this.

To this day, the Procyon has legendary status amongst some of the other Ardupilot developers.

Am I making this statement out of pride?  You're darn right. But it's also the truth, and can easily be proven with objective evidence.

How can management treat their shareholders like they are? They say they will answer questions on 8020 and yet still don't provide the answers!! I have never seen such a horrible company attitude towards shareholders. Do you have any insight?

Hi, sorry no, I can't offer any insight to you here about this subject, but would be willing to talk in a formal environment. I am happy to talk about the industry in general, current trends, what I'm up to now, etc.

Robert, With the silence of management and the deficit owing, isnt it fair to say we have all been had here?
Comment by divot111 on Sep 04, 2019 7:14pm
Are you surprised. Look at the other companies this team is involved with. SUV is a good indicator of our possible future here imho. Absolutely disgraceful how this management has and continues to treat us. Repeat... absolutely disgraceful! They sure have treated themselves extremely well though. Just look at how much money they give themselves through wages and “consulting” fees that go into ...more

I believe sunshine is the best disinfectant.  Unfortunately I cannot explain what is going on any better than the rest of you.

Robert, Just reading your comment  and would like to comment and correct you here because you are accusing me and that costed me a lot of time and money. "I had developed a policy, where each and every unit sold was test flown for 30-60 minutes before shipping." You haven't done it with my first system or you did but you had to fail the test but you shipped anyway. the ...more

Bart, I'm surprised you want to do this publicly.  You really should be dealing with NOVAerial Robotics Inc. directly.  I wasn't with the company for months by the time your helicopter crashed and am in no way responsible, legally or otherwise.  However, I did hear the details of the crash, I do not think you really want me to go into those details. I will respond to your ...more

Robert, I’m not going into discussions with you over the internet but this industry doesn’t want to communicate anymore if things going bad. “I did manage to find the "proof of life" video of your first helicopter” But at what quality Robert! No rev counter, no telemetry radios (in the specs and paid for) Your message to me: “To place an order, I would require 50% down payment up ...more

Hard for shareholders to make money when so much of it goes into insiders’ private entities. Check out the consulting fees this imho shareholder unfriendly insiders are rewarding themselves. It just gets worse and worse. The obvious next move is a reverse split and more dilution imho. I hope that Anthony Jacksons’ involvement in this company comes back to haunt them at some point. Especially those ...more

Here an article about another company Anthony Jackson was involved around the same time as UAV. I have highlighted my favorite paragraph htpps://www.vancourier.com/vancouver-stock-scandal-prompts-legal-clash-between-promoter-and-company-1.23773378 Subsequently, Montego’s most recent audited financial statement showed the company spent $1.79 million on consulting fees in 2018 and $1.14 million in ...more

You don't want to do this over the internet but... you're going to anyway?  I will continue to only respond directly to allegations you make. Bart, have you sought legal advice over this matter yet?  I suggest you do. Your  assertion that this was a hobby endeavor is both untrue, and damaging.  It is libel.  My professional resume speaks for itself.  The ...more

Robert, Will respond to you for the last time: “Your assertion that this was a hobby endeavor is both untrue, and damaging.  It is libel.” At our first meeting Novaerial Robotics wasn’t incorporated yet. I got serial nr 2. So you started it from a hobby. I don’t say that anything is wrong with starting a business from a hobby. It might even be good to continue your hobby into “your ...more

Bart, I would normally never participate in this unprofessional behaviour, but I will not allow you to make untrue statements, and post quotations that are completely out of context. And your comment reminded me of the major cause of the delay. This was so long ago now I had forgetten.  Since we're just going to post quotes, allow me: January 31st: "Those specifications are still ...more
