Journey Duvernay Wells >1,000 Barrels of Oil Per Day
Journey Energy is an E&P company with a low decline, highly economic production base in Alberta, Canada. In the summer of 2018, Journey entered into a strategic joint venture partnership with Kiwetinohk Resources Corp., led by respected industry veteran, Pat Carlson, to develop its East Duvernay shale oil resource prospect. The most recent results of this partnership, released yesterday, speak for themselves:
1 well producing 1,200 boepd (968 bopd)
1 well producing 1,400 boepd (1,017 bopd)
These are extraordinary results and compare positively versus type curve wells at 600 boepd and 500 bopd - incrementally positive for Journey and its Duvernay prospects.

January 28th, 2019, Cormark intiated coverage on Journey Energy, and sent out a sales note following up on it February 10th, 2019. There will likely be research coverage and investment bank target price increases because of these new Duvernay well results
