gettin2, the court dockets that I ordered, stated that the parties involved have been talking settlement during the entire proceedings, but no progress had been made.

Hopefully the closer this gets to a judgement, the closer they get to some form of settlement agreement, IMO. Time will tell.

I would have to believe that a settlement or compromise of sorts is always the best route in any litigation.
