RE:Favorable Markman Ruling andI think that most people, myself included, neglected to take into account that this is not just about patent infringement. It's also about WILLFULL infringement. Because of this, there's no money to be had with just a markman hearing. St G isn't going to admit they did this on purpose. Sure, they could make a deal and admit to basic infringement. But then the payout would be substantially smaller. The whole valuation is based on 3x damages for purposefully infringing on the patent. And THAT will not be decided anytime soon.
