I'm having the same problem understanding the implications : parts, including the title, suggest that they ("only") qualify, which would explain the relative lack of effect, moreso since they tried to run on that for a few previous NR already. But then there's that part :  

"Due to the positive results, the scientific team at CERN has ordered additional LFS-3 plates to be integrated into modules for the main Compact Muon Solenoid (CMS) experiment.  The Company was informed by the CERN group that the details of a qualification contract and supply agreement will be finalized in early 2015."

Is it the standard procedure for everyone that ends up qualifying ? Is there anybody else who meets the qualifying standards anyway ? And why the news seem to be the qualification and not the order then ?
