RE:80% Chance; Several Hundred Million DollarsThe beauty of the out of court settlement is that it avoids rolling the dice at a jury trial which would be a long and drawn out process and even if ZMS won big they would be subject to an appeal further dragging things out. This way ZMS can move quickly to commercialization which should have happened years ago if not for the alleged infringement.
Setttlement here and now will serve to unlock the true value of the company in short order. This looks like a big win for ZMS which is not surprising given the strong legal team working for ZMS.
