Canada tax declaration Original cost of Bell Alliant

On my 2006 Canadian statements, I see Bell Alliant being spun off from BCE at 35.10 One (1) Bell Alliant (BA.UN) for 1.181 shares of BCE Hopes this helps someone

BA Conversion to BCE

For those who converted to BCE, the price that you would have to get for your BA would have to be $32.55 to equal the price of BCE high today times the conversion = $51 X .6371= $32.55 Happy I sold ...more

They are trading off the BCE conversion price. i.e. BCE X .6371 $50.17 X .6371=$31.96 Buy at $31.69 and make $.27 on each share. It's called Arbitrage In economics and finance, arbitrage is the ...more
