you are probably right. banks converted $110m into shares/total 40m shares = $2.75/share. even if they own 100% shares. 110m/3.23=34m/40m.=85%. The banks own 85% of BXE shares.

Ming... my math showed that the converting debt to shares last year was at a $3.23/share break-even. That the banks would need $3.23 to break-even. But if they're willing to take a haircut... then ...more

it means that debt-holders think  $2 is fair value. business has been going normally after converting and even getting better because gas price is going up. i think $2 will be final price for ...more

On the PWC website under "Motion Material" a full report was filed Jan. 21 to the Courts to make a ruling. Read the report and it shows compelling evidence Bellatrix will win the court case. ...more

The PWC Monitor is projecting Bellatrix will have $25 million cash on hand by April 30 + $2 Million BP owes them. High AECO NG prices have thrown Bellatrix into profitability. With apx $375M total ...more

stay float, but bxe was willingly getting into CCAA even it did not have to. considering that over 80% shareholders are former debtor holders after converting, it is not easy to say to them shares are ...more

Bellatrix best outcome?

I think the ideal situation is to stay in Chapter 11 for as long as possible and sell in the 500 million range including cash reserves? Thoughts?

Would also be hard to excite shareholders as of now with being listed again, I think April 30th is the key point. Reconciliation with BP by then would be a big plus
