If we get a raise to 3¢, then the share price would need to rise to $8 for a similar 4.5% distribution. A 5% distribution valuation gives us a $7 share price. Very doable. Either way, at 3¢

Private will require a large premium. Sahi can buy cheaper in the open market. Whatever the reason, the buying has put a floor on the stock.

They continue to buy a few thousand shares from day to day. Why does MRC do this? MRC owns 13.7 million shares, why bother buy a few more in the market? Just take it private, and stop piddling around.

Morguard buying again
I assume at some point they will have to put out a press release. Maybe that will spark some interest in this REIT. MRC must be around 62% by now, plus Sahi's personal position.
