I think they only finished one or two holes at that time  and it was ongoing WIP  ( the first program ) but also raised funds to continue on the second .... I could be wrong as well.... but ...more

Newmont wanted Hope Bay. The Con Mine came with the deal. Yes, they knew the Cambell Shear Zone was mineralized at Kam Point. So did Miramar, so did Nerco, so did Cominco.
